First Year Teacher Academy
Training of Trainers Purpose: The 3-Day FYTA Training of Trainers and Certification Training will give you the information you need to provide a system of support for beginning teachers and mentors. The training intent is to prepare you to provide training and support for first year teachers and/or to provide a First Year Teacher Academy using Ginger’s materials and formats. Following the training you will have the options to: *Conduct a First Year Teacher Academy purchasing Ginger’s First Year Teacher Notebook. *Become a certified trainer for Ginger Tucker’s FYTA by agreeing to the certification requirements. Certification agreement includes following the training formats, agendas, techniques and purchasing the First Year Teacher Notebook for each first year teacher being trained. Purpose -To provide trainers, teachers, and other providers of professional development with the knowledge and skills to lead and facilitate groups and make successful training presentations. -This is a highly interactive training designed to enable the participants to learn, practice, and receive coaching in an environment of support and safety.
